Welcome Lovers! Thank you for joining me on this journey. I'm a 31-year old black woman who is getting to know myself better each and every day. Like, anyone I have my ups and downs, and my outlet is writing. For some reason, I let my friends convince me to share some of those stories. I will never apologize for the topics I choose to write on, or the person I have chosen to become in this life.
About Me
I'm a 30-something black woman who currently lives in Charlotte, NC. My passion has always been numbers and writing. For a while I indulged fully in my first passion, by teaching math. Six year later, I needed to take a step back to cater more to myself.

After some time working a mundane job that brought little joy to my life, my whole world turned upside down. I lost my job. But, instead of crushing under the pressures of life, I fell further into my other passion: writing.

That's where y'all come in (and this website)! I love love love to write, but it had never crossed my mind to share what I have written until now. Most of it had been lack of confidence because I didn't believe anyone would care to read what I had written. Then, I took the leap, and I'm happy I did!
